I went to swansboro from 2009-2012 and the woman less beauty pageant is a tradition we looked forward toe very year.

It's a student event, proactive (student's trying to earn their own funds) and will create fun memories for the seniors. So why can't they?

Why would you take something away that people look forward too..? The school expects their students to want to go to school and be happy to be there, meanwhile yous try to take away the very few fun activities that we have. It's pathetic...

I've had 2 sons participate in this event, it has become somewhat of a tradition. I'd hate to see it come to an end. What would be next.

Though I never attended during high school I loved to see the excitement on everyone's face planning to be in or attend it. It'd be a shame to not have it due to a few bad or angry seeds.

Those of us that are seniors now have watched this event take place for years, awaiting our turn to participate. This is yet another one of the senior activities that make our year memorable. Please don't take it away.
