We, the undersigned object to the Planning Application for the Change of use for Wollaton House, 43a Radford Bridge Road, Nottingham, NG8 1NB. We object to the planning application to turn the former children's home into a Prayer and learning centre for the following reasons. The increase in traffic on Radford Bridge Road will cause a major problem to the residents as it is already difficult to exit Radford Bridge Road on to the fast moving main highway. A long queue of traffic trying to exit Radford Bridge Road will block residents access and make it almost impossible for people walking to cross the road close to the junction. There will be a substantial increase in kerb side parking which will endanger young children's live's when crossing the road, as the proposed centre is next to a busy play area. Cars parked along the kerb will restrict their judgement by impeding their view. Older residents living next door to the centre may well find cars parked on their side roads which need to be kept clear so that it does not restrict their movements. An increase in cars parking on both sides of Radford Bridge Road will endanger local residents as emergency vehicles will be unable to pass without delay.
