Update: I talked to our principal and unfortunately WMS's spring play has been canceled for good because they couldn't find a director or co-director. Thank you all so much for your support!

Students of Wadsworth Middle School were recently informed that there will not be a spring play happening this year. Many of us are upset because we have been looking forward to this for months! I know that I made a lot of new friends while I was in Aladdin Jr. and I am not able to see many of these people. For many of these friends, it's their last year of middle school. I won't see them again until I'm in high school!

Davis said she thinks performing in the musical has been beneficial to a lot of the students.

“It helps them to work as a team, learning responsibility because they have to juggle homework at night plus rehearsals and learning their lines and choreography,” she said. “I think it really helps to make them well rounded.”

Just because Mrs. Davis isn't here doesn't mean that we can't have a play! We might be able to get Ms. Adley and/or someone else to help!

The musical helped me to make more friends around my school, work better in groups, manage my time, and to discover something different that I didn't know I enjoyed. What do you say to one last production together? I think it's time for Aladdin Fam to reunite!
