I support this petition. I have never been disappointed to live in Walled Lake. I have lived here my entire life, 41 years. I am a graduate of WLW myself. I chose to raise my family here because of the schools. I am regretting my decision right now. I am so dissatisfied with our school districts actions and lack of transparency that it’s sickening. Every nurse that I work with at the local hospital knows the plan for Nov 1 and beyond for their children in all of the neighboring districts, yet we sit here in the dark not knowing the future of WLCSD.

Plz allow the students back in school!! This is not working for my 2 first graders. They cry, they are anxious, and very sad.

My son is wanting to go back. The kids need the normalcy of school. Although his new 2nd grade teacher is PHENOMENAL.

Kids need to go back to school! My daughter is starting to show signs of depression and anger! There are so many districts that are going back. I am so disappointed in walled lake schools .

The chance to go back f2f is why we didn't go fully online.

Please return our children full time face to face! The hybrid plan is too disruptive and other districts and states have been able to rerun full time with very few issues!

My parents who are both retired teachers do not understand why our schools are not open. My brother and sister-in-law are both public teachers and have been in the classroom teaching for several weeks. Our son is now in private school. These schools do take Covid seriously and ensure a safe environment. There has been no serious negative health impacts to these school communities. Overall, it is disappointing Walled Lake Schools have not attempted to open for in class teaching especially since your primary stakeholders want their children in school.

Wln sophomore - in my home, he is begging to go back to the classroom. He needs the interaction with his peers and his teachers.

Some families are really having a hard time with this and we deserve the option.

Please send our kids back F2F. I have three in the district at three different schools (Glengary, Walnut Creek, and WLN) and due to my work schedule have had to send our 1sr grader to daycare to do school remotely - it’s ok to send kids to daycare for ‘school’ but not to actual school... please send them back. Although the new structure is much better than what it was in the spring (kuddos to the teachers, seriously), the kids and teachers need F2F to be most effective (especially the younger kids).
