We the undersigned fleet and vehicle owners are expressing interest in having CNG fueling options throughout Wisconsin. Signing this petition does not obligate the fleet owner to anything financial or otherwise, but expresses genuine interest in using CNG as it becomes available. Petition background: Historically, fueling companies have been hesitant to install a new fuel like CNG (compressed natural gas) without having a steady stream of customers who would utilize the stations. Also, vehicle owners haven’t been willing to buy or up-fit vehicles to CNG unless there was a fuel source readily available. This petition is designed to bridge that gap and show interest by vehicle owners in CNG and will be given to major fueling companies in Wisconsin. CNG is much less expensive, often between $1.00 and $2.00 per gge (gallon of gas equivalent). CNG is an abundant American fuel, environmentally superior, and gives companies marketing opportunities with customers who see them as progressive and responsible in use of natural resources. This is not unlike companies using recycled content and biodegradable packaging.
