This law would be a dream come true. I am a mother of a beautiful 2 year old daughter, and my heart breaks everytime I drop her off at daycare. I would love to be able to provide some sort of additional income, and be able to stay home with her. This would allow me to do so... PLEASE consider passing this law.

This would help a lot to get my business started without so much initial start-up cost!

Please pass this bill! How could you not want to help create jobs for people who are out of work and for those who stay at home with their children?

To whom it may concern:
Hi, my name is Phil Applebaum and I work for the Institute for Justice over in Arlington, VA. We recently kicked off a campaign called the Food Freedom Initiative which is aimed at tackling over-regulatory laws by state and city governments across the country regarding food production.
We're actually pursuing legal action on behalf of a baker in Minnesota over their cottage food laws, and because of that we are looking for potential leads on other cottage food related issues.
We're very early on in our research of the issue. While searching for like-minded cottage food organizations in states with the worst cottage food laws, I came across your petition and figured I'd reach out to you in hopes that you may have some contacts that you wouldn't mind sharing with us. We often try to build grassroots action campaigns through our activism department to avoid litigation and get laws changed through legislation so anything/anyone you can give me would be greatly appreciated!
Here's some more info on the FFI: http://www.ij.org/FoodFreedom
Thanks and Happy Holidays!

I want to start my own bakery, but I can't come up with the money to actually open one right away. How else am I supposed to develop a customer base and prove that I can make money from my business?

I'm a Wisconsin native who's looking to move back, and being able to supplement my income with home-made items for sale would help me greatly in this transition.

It's a shame that the very people that we elect to govern for us will not listen to our wishes.
