Wisconsin Food Cottage Law

There is no reason why people shouldn’t be allowed to produce and sell baked goods. I love going to farmers markets the have baked goods.

Please pass this!

I've been researching on how to start a cupcake business and now I find that Wisconsin doesn't have the food cottage law. I'd like this bill to pass as well. thanks

I make gourmet baked cheese cakes. I am retired and would like to feel somewhat worthwhile. I would love to sell them but I according to the State of Wisconsin I need to either build a kitchen for only the cheesecakes, rent space and if I build it needs to be zoned for business and hold a license. None of these options are financially good for me as I am not swimming in extra cash. Please let the little guy or gal have a chance. Thank you

Have you ever seen some of the kitchens in professional bakeries? Many home baked goods are in a cleaner environment and handled by less people. Also, it will not interfere with commercial bakeries since the patron has the right to purchase from a private or public place if they want to. New Jersey and Wisconsin are the last frontier to end this absurd law. Lets get current, please.

PLEASE replace the ridiculous law of Commercial Kitchens. We're small time folks, trying to provide nutritious and less preservatives in our home baked goods PLEASE enact Home Bakery licenses to folks who want to bake from their homes.

Upon retirement I was looking for a fun hobby. I found one. I LOVE making delicious decorated sugar cookies/bouquets.

I just want to bake PIES for god's sake
