My mum was treated here 2 years ago before she passed away. How inconsiderate can some people be! Have some respect for those people who are terminally ill over the road!!!

Totally against anything that could disturb the peace of terminally ill patienta at the Hospice, and I know from personal experience how important that is.

I think it's extremely disrespectful to the hospice and all of it's patients to even consider putting a pub across the road. I strongly object and I hope this petition is heard!

Dying patients need quiet and a pub will ruin this.

Peace and quiet is so important for the hospice, surely there is another site in a more appropriate area that can be used.

This would cause a major major problem towards the hospice and the surrounding areas have some thoughts

My Dad was in the Hospice in 2003, how they can think about putting a noisey pubic house near to the hospice

How could any sane thinking person consider this a reasonable idea. Does the idiot who suggested this know or even care what happens over the road, there is bound to be disturbance through increased traffic or are they building it hoping it stays empty...imagine a disturbance at closing times...Shame on this Brewery.

Utterly ridiculous and totally irresponsible! Not only for the distress noise and disruption to hospital patients and relatives etc as previous comments have pointed out but what a dangerous spot for anything that will attract a lot of people and where will all the customers park? I

this is NOT the place for an "amenity/pub" eating place... peace and quiet is what is needed there...

I am absolutely disgusted to read that an application for a pub/restaurant so close to where people go to live their last days has been submitted. Greene King call themselves 'proud, responsible retailers'? Obviously they are not or they would not even think about such a shameful proposal. I for one will now purposely boycott any Greene King establishment, and u just hope they find some basic decency and withdraw the application. I am shocked beyond words.
