Football has been played at Stag Meadow for over 100 years and is a pivotal feature of the great town of Windsor. Please don't let this land be used for any other reason than to continue to serve the community in the form of a football team, as it has done for generations!

I've been watching Windsor play football at Stag Meadow for over 30 years and the thought of them having to play at a different ground disappoints me.

It's quite ironic that the King gave this piece of Windsor Great Park for the benefit of the local community over 100 years ago and, despite both Windsor & Eton FC and now Windsor FC nurturing it on behalf of the community, the Crown Estate won't grant the club a decent lease so that grants can be applied for that would allow them to continue maintaining and enhancing it for the upcoming generations. It's high time the CE showed their support for this iconic club, players and supporters.

6 years and counting.... how many man hours and tens of thousands of £s have been spent getting nowhere? Still, as long as our landlord's agents and legal advisors have been able to live comfortably on the proceeds of doing sweet fa I guess someone's doing ok. Sort it out!!

PLEASE don't take this community sport away. Give these youngsters a way to fill their time and sight their ambitions in a productive and healthy fashion.

Let's hope this helps the club get the lease and that things can start progressing at the club.
