I have not personally had either teachers but I have heard only good things about Ms. Wilson. Mrs. Reid is a teacher who "helps" with the robotics team by opening the school for us. However she only does this "job" some of the time. I also heard that she once locked one of her students in her closet.

Ms. Reid is my first block teacher and she in incapable of teaching her class. We are never prepared for our tests, even when given study guides, a lot of the material on the test we never even covered in class. We are constantly asking for her to teach us and explain things in class. She always says she will get to it but never does. She spends majority of the class talking and wasting time when we are supposed to be learning. Ms. Reid should not be here any longer if she cannot teach her students what we need to know. Regardless of what the rules are; I've heard nothing but great things about Mrs. Wilson and it would be a shame to see her go.

Ms. Reid cannot teach us students. Ms. Wilson is the epitome of a great teacher. She is not only loving but teaches with the utmost respect and clarity.

As a senior, I only recognize a handful of teachers here, as it seems as though half leave between school years. I'll talk to my friends who are freshmen and not recognize any of their teachers because nearly all of my old teachers have left since I started at Olympic. It seems to me as though Mrs. Wilson is one of the only teachers who genuinely wishes to stay at Olympic, and having a teacher who is going to stick around is not something to take lightly.
Additionally, though I have not been in Ms. Reid's class myself, I know several freshmen who have opted to take Chemistry online next year because they feel as though they will not get the information they need if they take chemistry with Ms. Reid.
Being a student in Mrs. Wilson's class, I can honestly say that I've learned a lot with her. She goes over the material in class with us in ways that capture our interest, with humorous and real-world examples, and with creative projects. I have also learned to take initiative while in her class, as she provides many extra opportunities to develop a deeper understanding of the concepts discussed in class that we can take advantage of, which is a skill that I'm glad I was able to develop before going to college.
Last, but certainly least, Mrs. Wilson is very welcoming and easy to talk to, which is invaluable in a teacher, as my classmates and I look forward to going to her class every day.

shouldn't it be decided based on which teacher's students have had higher scores? This rule should be changed because of how unfair it is. what if the teacher was hired a few days earlier than the other yet the teacher offers a better education than that other teacher but is getting fired because they were hired last? Maybe that's why our test scores are so low, because you fire all the good teachers and keep the slackers.

I believe that students should be allowed to have a say in how their education is offered. If there is better teacher available.
