Save Will Richards Art Studio Catalina Island

Please save Will Richard's Art Studio. His Art is a rich part of Catalina history. It enriches and gives joy to so many.

Ever since I was little growing up on the island and always wanting to go see the studio so I can be an artist one day...because of my childhood dream from looking at Will Richards art studio I am now an Art Major in college.

Please preserve this important and unique island attraction.

I love visiting this beautiful studio. Please don't shut it down.

Save this magical studio. It's part of the make up of the island's charm and uniqueness. Nothing like in in the whole world

LOVE this historical landmark! Please preserve Will's studio! I've been an island visitor for 50 years...change can be good, but in this case it's not.

Best art studio on the Island that draws visitors and Islanders alike. Will has been a blessing to the art of Catalina for years even donating his work to the City. On a very sweet and personal note Will created my Mom's beautiful headstone as a final tribute to her in the Avalon Cemetary. Thank you Will! Will's heart and love of Art and Catalina surely deserves to live on and not be bulldozed for a road! For Heaven's sake certainly there is another way! Hasn't enough of the unique quaintness of Avalon been closed down? Joni Mitchell's lyrics come to mind "Don't it always seem to go That you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone. They paved paradise and put up a parking lot" :-(

I have been many times to the Richard's art studio absolutely amazing and incredable it would be Criminal to take it all away. It's truly a Catalina legacy. Prayers Will Richards.

Please reconsider removing this art museum, island iconic locations are to few.

Save the artistic history of the island by honoring the studio that has given so much to so many.

This is a historic landmark its beautiful and Art and artists need to be protected and preserved, we have already lost so much that made Catalina unique i.e. Stables, beautiful paintings on roof of spa, historic tile from businesses let's save this.

Loved this place as a kid. Maybe the island company should strike a deal with will and sell tickets to the art studio. Everyone wins.
