In the wake of the tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas HS in Parkland, FL, it is imperative that students voice their opinions on the issues of unsafe schools in the United States. As such, student organizers are planning a school walkout and peaceful protest on March 14th, 2018 at Williamsville South. While we feel safe at our own school, we know that this is a much larger issue, one that affects many families, students, and friends nationwide. We know something needs to be done, and we are encouraging adults to take action on this issue before more tragedies occur. Before we can continue planning, we need to gauge support for our plans.
