The long term effects of this policy and the lack of notification to parents and members of the community is unacceptable. This will affect all of us - it also applies to the community fitness center of which many of our senior citizens are member.

The policy 8011 is so flawed and overreaching. It can only be a reaction, not a well thought out plan with the entire student body in view.

WCS has been made aware of the legal ramifications of this policy. Ignoring these facts and public outcry is negligent and should concern ALL parents, school employees, and taxpayers to the district.

Taking parents out of the equation is leaving minors making decisions without those who have their best interests at heart. This feels like a reaction, not a well thought out response to current needs and future expectations.

My two younger children attend WCS, and this policy makes me wonder what the WCSschool board has as their true agenda.
