As the owner of a home in Chester County, I believe it is critically important that environmental hazards be addressed openly and with the input of the affected community. The executives who live elsewhere should not be the only or most important voice at the table. Local residents whose health and property values will be affected for years to come must be part of the conversation. Further, every investment in the proper clean up of environmental hazards is an investment in a sustainable earth that benefits future generations. Let's start using the impact on the future rather than immediate profit as a measure of what is a worthwhile action .

Downingtown Boro sold Kardon Park in 2006 and then it went to the Pa Supreme Court. They called it The Ponds and have yet to change it back to Kardon Park. In June 2017 the PA Supreme Court said the Boro could not sell Kardon Park which is public parkland. Are you ready for a fight? Downingtown Boro has no integrity and they have no concern for their residents. Get Ready!

I hope they get the proper permits and clean up crews. They shouldn't be aloud to cut corners when lives are at stake. This absolutely horrible.
