William Frush for SBA President
My name is William Frush and I am incredibly excited to have the opportunity to run for SBA president for the single JD program. I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2019 with a degree in political science. As a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity, I served as chapter president during my senior year. I also served as a voting member of the Interfraternity Council for Fraternity and Sorority Life.
The most valuable lesson that I learned as a student leader is that each of us will encounter unique challenges during our educational career. There isn't a one-size-fits-all approach that will solve everyone's problems and concerns - which is why my primary goal is to ensure that your voices feel heard. I will always be available to listen to any issues or questions that anyone has.
It can be difficult developing personal or professional relationships with classmates or professors online. I would like to coordinate with students and members of the SBA board to develop safe and virtual opportunities for all of us to get to know each other better. An important aspect of building a community is feeling like we can rely on each other for support. We have joined an especially supportive and robust community of professors and alumni who have demonstrated their commitment to helping us; I believe we can offer that same commitment to each other.
