Petition against the change of age limit at WILD young parents project.

I am joining WILD soon and in october will be my 19th, I get looked down on even though I am the same age as my nan was when she had my mum. I am looking forward to joining WILD and meeting mums the same age as me, and making new friends from people who understand what it is like.

I am 19 and expecting my first baby in 8 days tomorrow. I will be 20 in June and will not get support for a long time period that I feel I would benefit from! It is important to me to have the opportunity to have free access to support and interaction with others mums and other kiddies for my little one. I hear so many good things about WILD and the good that it is done - please don't give me something, just to take it away a few months later.

I think this is so unfair! I look forward to Tuesdays so I can go to wild! I didn't had any mummy friends before I went here and it was starting to make me feel really down and crappy about myself and guilty that my son had no friends! Now I feel like me and my son have friends that are in the same situation as me and not only that I had ba problems with my mum wing poorly and wild are really helping me cope with that along side supporting me to get a house so me and my partner can finally live together! I'm 21 and I have needs and I feel most comfortable talking to the wild workers rather then anybody else!

wouldn't be fair! everyone needs support over the age of 19. I owe so much to wild have learnt so much. there nothing really for us to do in liskeard what is free. wild is and gives our children a chance to interact before nursey. don't take it away!! :( xx

I owe so much to Wild and it has honestly changed my life for the better. Wild helps so many young mums who are over 19 that it's awful that it's going to stop helping them.

my daughter in law goes to wild with my grandchildren and they all benefit greatly from the support she gets at wild and i know how much she looks forward to meeting friends and gaining support from other parents

wild has helped me gain my confidence and has also helped me get to know other young mums. my daughter loves going to wild and I hope this petition works for all young mums out there attending wild x

i have only just turned 19 and wild has helped me so much and i have many friends who are older and they still need help .. it isnt fair that young mums who are over 19 arent able to get the help they need and deserve.. Dont change thebage limit

Wild has helped my child gain confidence and now has many friends. they are always very supportive and eleanor even installed carbonmonoxid detactors In our home

i am wanting to start very soon but i am 20 which means i would not be able to go for long. I very much enjoy the baby groups i go to and i think it is very unfair for the age to be limited on wild, myself and two of my mummy friends were wanting to start and none of us would be able to stay on.

I am shocked. I attended wild whilst pregnant it gave me the confidence to be who I am today. I've just finished my level 3 ext. And in September start my ba hons for social work, my son is so happy and strong and I cam also drive. The main point is I'm a good parent thanks to wild. and I don't want to be the only fighter! The age should be raised if anything if it'll give people the strength that I have :)

Don't change the age limit! This will effect many young mums in a negative way. Please don't do this.

Please don't cut this service, if anything, you should be extending the age brackets upwards as well as downwards, it will affect many young mums who need support. Many thanks for listening.

wild young parents project- meaning young parents you dont stop being a young mum at the age of 19!! it takes alot of courage to finally be confident enough to go an get help. this group has helped me an my sons life for the ultimate better. its made me realise who to let in our lives an get rid of the bad ones. before i went to wild i was in a bad place. but they have shown me a light at the end of the tunnel. i will finally be in a suitable stable house in the place i love truro and so that me an my son can be happy and stable. dont change the age to 19 as im 22 and started going when i was 20. without wild i have no idea where id be!! and at 22 im still going an recieving tje confidence an help no one else did.

i am 22 and without the help of wild i would still be suffering depresion and my daughters bond would never of been regained and my sons experiences so far would not of been as good as it is. without wild i wouldnt of got back into work and be now earning a living.
