Whereas, Wesley L. Marshall, 9 S. Dover Street, Bonne Terre, MO is well known by the undersigned and is a respected property owning citizen. He has always shown himself to be a kind-hearted, gentle, trustworthy, hardworking union member, and respectful of everyone he comes into contact with.
We, the undersigned, petition the court: that we believe the charges against Wesley DO NOT represent what his personal characteristics are, as we know them to be. Wesley has had to deal with changing jobs due to the pending charges and has worn the GPS around his ankle for 20 months. We, the undersigned, fully support Wesley and have faith that the court will show leniency and rule for probation in his case.

Watching the comments fill up with stories about Wes reminds me every day how much he is loved by this community. I am spending my time coordinating with his legal team to ensure that the court understands exactly who the real Wesley Marshall is.

Seeing this kind of backing for Wes reminds me of the man I know and trust. It means everything to see his community rally behind him this way while he waits for his day in court.

Wes is a fine person he has helped several people I know around here. What happen in this instance is very unfortunate I hope any repercussions is not because of injured parties relation, like his parent. I certainly hope they show a little compassion and will consider probation any incarceration time would be a waste of time. I think he has already learned a lot from this and nothing like it will happen again. Thank You for your consideration.
Wes Marshall is a good man... He doesn't deserve, nor should he be taken as, looked upon, or spoken of, as anything other than a guy who means no harm to anyone. The fact is that the defamation of character that he's already endured is beyond reason. It speaks in no way, of the man I know.
Wesley is good hard working tax paying man .!!! I would hope that one icident won’t ruin his life
We’d has always been a great guy. I’ve personally known Wes since 1995. He was always quick to defuse a situation or stand up for someone. One person I can say I trust, and I never use that word lightly.
I have the utmost respect for Wes Marshal, as I have know him to be a gentle and kind man.
One the the best guys I've ever had the privilege to meet!

Just wanted to say that you should take into consideration the fact that it was a accident and Wes is a really nice help a friend kind of guy and he has really been punishing himself every day since this happen. He’s a hard worker and shows up every day so no one has to do it all.
