As I can only use a small amount of the system, this increase in charges is extreme.

This is so unfair you should only pay for what you use and we cannot use two thirds of the waterways system .

It's not just wide beams it's all craft of certain widths/beam ,it seemsthat rivers take less investment than the canal network but the bulk of the river craft as well as wide beams are being asked to subsidise the canal net work ,it appears that the bulk of the alleged consultation was carried out taking into account only narrow boats ,most river craft take up less mooring space than most narrow boats or wide beams ,crt have completely whitewashed a number of views whilst doing their consultations

Further discussion with Widebeam owners needs to happen before the CRT implement this unfair increase.

I am unclear why widebeam owners are being singled out ... what is the definition of a widebeam and how was this decision made ?

Widebeam craft has a much restricted cruising area compared to narrow beam craft. Why wasn't that considered in the review? Why should narrow beam craft be allowed to influence a consultation in such a way that they escape without any licence cost increase?

Wide beams should pay less because we can't use all the water ways
