If they wiaa wants to mimic the classroom , they should also ban cheering and clapping from games. I don't remember being clapped and cheered for because I answered a question correctly

This isn't grade school. If player's feelings get hurt because the opposing crowd chants "airball" then the player shoudnt have airballed it.

Come on. This is not a Norman Rockwell world. Toughen up and let kids be kids. Making sure people's feelings don't get hurt have to stop. Why even keep score anymore. There should be no winners and no losers in your world. Ridiculous

The rules are not reasonable at all. It amazes me how they don't ban racial slurs but they ban "USA", "AIRBALL", and other cheers EVERYONE uses for basketball games including NCAA and NBA.

I think all these changes that have been made for the students recently have been quite drastic but this is going too far, there is no one being harmed I don't see why there is a problem with having school spirit and cheering on your team. This is taking away a lot of people's favorite part of Highschool for no good reason.

UNBELIEVABLE move by the WIAA, you are taking the enjoyment away from the fans. Next thing you know, fans will have to sit down and be quiet during the game. Cheering on your team in a positive way will offend the opposing teams. Bad decision WIAA.
