I'd love to join the WI but won't as I don't want a man playing woman face invading and wrecking a space meant for biological women.
Of the actual trans women I know, none of them would join something like the WI as they respect boundaries. You have to ask why others are so desperate to join. Men get a power hit from trampling all over female boundaries. You are allowing this to happen to women.

The WI cannot achieve any of its aims if they define woman as effectively "anyone who conforms to sexist female stereotypes, regardless of actual sex". The only valid definition for WI aims should be "anyone of the female sex, regardless of gender identity" - only then can women and girls have the freedom to be the best they can. This is inclusive of a great many trans people, just not the ones who are male.

The Women’s Institute is for women, not tens identified men. There are few enough space for women only and another one is now lost. The idea that a woman could learn something about being a woman from a man in a frock is ridiculous. I had been considering joining my local bench of the WI, but will not be doing so if this stands.

Trans identifying males have no experience of being women because they lack the capacity to do so: they aren’t female. Women are not men’s ideas of womaning; nor chemically altered males. We are fully human while also exclusively female, and we should be able to have places & groups for ourselves.
Only Females should be allowed.
