We, class of 2025 have grown wary about the recent decisions that have been made without our knowledge or opinions. Nancy Tag and Rebecca Rivera have been a crucial element to the success of the BIC program, and we understand that they have been unappreciated by City College and dismissed from continuing to grow with BIC students. Many students of 2024 and 2025 specifically chose the BIC program because of Nancy and the common knowledge of her expertise, and success within the industry. Both Nancy and Rebecca have worked extremely hard to support us in our growth, not only as students but as professionals. They have gone out of their way numerous times to prepare us for the industry we are soon going to be entering and have helped keep us on task and aligned with achieving our degree. We come to you not only as the students of BIC, but as concerned professionals about the lack of stability City College have shown to this program. Questions have not been answered, and decisions are made without the knowledge or care of the students that are paying to be a part of this program. Below is a list of students who would like to do a Q & A session to help us better understand the changes that are taking place, and what this means for us.

Reaching this level of support feels heavy because it confirms so many of us are hurting and confused by the silence from the administration. The exhaustion of fighting for stability is real but seeing so many people speak up gives me the resolve to keep pushing for the answers we are owed.

total BS. nancy has been here forever and knows exactly what she is doing. stop firing the best people we have.
Enter Curious, Leave Furious. As a graduating BICster, seeing the rise and fall of this program is incredibly disheartening. I've loved BIC since the moment I entered. I hope the powers that be see this frustration and lack of organization and do something. Don't let a 10-year legacy go down the drain.
