Yers please to a footbridge at White Hart Lane. At present it is dangerous and would be dreadful if nothing is done until there is a fatal accident.

A level crossing without any footbridge or subway, in a built-up residential and business area, with both high traffic and footfall is a planning idiocy. In a location where the crossing is closed for a majority of time, it is plain lunacy. That this can persist and still occur in the 21st Century, says it all!

Essential as the number of schoolchildren & mothers with param going to from Barnes Primary / East Sheen Primary makes this an incredibly busy crossing in the mornings & afternoons.

This would be a huge benefit to the residents of Mortlake, Barnes and East Sheen. It's such a busy pedestrian crossing and I'm sure it will benefit the traders of white hart lane too as pedestrians will be more inclined to use the road knowing they'll not get caught at the crossing for a long time.

This would be fantastic as we use this footbridge to walk to Vine Road playground and the amenities of white hart lane. With children it would be such a great asset.

A footbridge is long overdue on this terribly dangerous level crossing. It is overcrowded with pedestrians due to limited standing spaces and the delays between the barriers rising. Motor vehicles turning left and right before and after the level crossing causes a backup of vehicles and much angst amongst drivers who dash across the level crossing consistently endangering pedestrians lives.

My elderly mother has stopped using this route because there is no footbridge. In her mind it is less stressful for her to use a bridge than risk crossing the tracks and having the gates close before she reaches the other side.

I lived close to this crossing for many years and witnessed several close calls with children and elderly involved. Please, don't wait to take action until something dreadful happens.

Not only school children are affected, but commuters, local high street shoppers can be delayed here for long periods - up to 15 mins has been known. In the winter there is no shelter so a footbrige is long overdue for these lines.
