The people of Lyon County want the book Whispers of the Past widely published. The 300+ page coffee table book preserves the history of Lyon County. It is full color and hardcover bound. It represents a collaboration between two people who passionately believe in the history and people of Lyon County.

Every signature on this petition represents someone who loves and appreciates all of the work Carolyne Sue Bonds has invested in the book Whispers of the Past over many months. She has edited Christian Greco's year-plus of research and hundreds of pictures, and organized the material into the most visually beautiful volume of history ever written about Lyon County, if not anywhere in Kentucky.

We are thankful for the collaboration between Carolyne and Christian. We are excited about the final book. We believe this is a book we will hand down to our children and grandchildren someday, and they will do the same to their children. This is such an important part of our legacy, and our history as a people. In a few years, people will be so grateful that this book was widely published. In several decades, most of the material found in this book will not be available anywhere else. We want that for our families, for our descendants.
