WHIN has created an ensemble of music-oriented children whose impact to the world may yet to be seen but could far extend that of the artists of our time. WHIN’s curriculum is designed with a well-defined concept of purposeful artistry infused with a strong sense of community and citizenship that we all can benefit from. In fact, these kids already uplift our neighborhoods, whether local or global, by modeling to other kids, especially to out-of-school children, the essence of meaningful education exemplified in a loving and caring environment. I support WHIN’s charter school license renewal, and its expansion, to advance the great work it has started in these children and in our community.
