NYC needs more music and arts-focused schools. WHIN has taken great strides at getting students involved in the arts, developing their passions, and also developing their minds.

We need more schools like WHIN! They've shown so much dedication and skill in creating an academic environment especially over the last year and a half. They richly deserve to be renewed and permitted to expand into grades 6-8.

WHIN and Monroe College have developed such a strong, reciprocal partnership. The teachers have gone above and beyond in supporting our student teachers and when visiting the school their mission is abundantly clear!

I fully support WHIN and it's request for a 5 year renewal as well as expansion in to middle school! WHIN provides great services to its students and they should continue to do more with the five year renewal and expansion!

I am a musician who has been teaching kids, and creating and performing kids music for 30 years. I have visited this fantastic school and have seen the amazingly talented and caring teachers and administrators in action, and watched the joy and growth of the kids who attend. There is no doubt in my mind that WHIN should have its charter renewed. Please allow them to continue their beautiful work for these kids, their families, and the community!
