"When Love Is Gone" is a beautiful song, written by Paul Williams and performed by Meredith Braun, for a pivotal moment in the The Muppet Christmas Carol which it shows why Belle and Scrooge part. The songs absence leaves a nasty jolt in the narrative (and Gonzo in tears). It also makes little sense of the reprise at the end of the film, "When Love Is Found".

It's been 21 years since we have been able to enjoy The Muppet Christmas Carol is it's full, uncut version.

Now Disney is in control of the Muppet legacy, we, the undersigned, would like them to not only reinstate the song to all future releases, but to also give this holiday classic the love and respect it deserves, with a beautifully remastered BluRay/DVD.

No family Christmas is complete without a viewing of this wonderful film, and we'd love to see it in all it's remastered full glory, just as Brian Henson originally intended.
