WHY??? Just WHY do we need to be told by WhatsApp "1 unread message" within the chat window?? Yes, I can see that by looking at the bottom of the chat window with my eyes!! We get sound notifications, and also message numbers in the red badge on the WhatsApp icon. THAT tells us usefully when we have an unread message on WhatsApp. Why do we need to be told we have an unread message when we are looking right at that message with our eyes????? Thank you for telling us how to use our eyes, WhatsApp, but actually, no one with vision EVER actually needs this deeply patronising 'feature', and it literally provides no benefit whatsoever. So please remove it!
