Over the past years there have been an increasing number of bone cancers and brain tumours in young children that have attended Helston School. This is becoming a huge worry for families in the area and I suggest that it is vital we re-investigate this matter as the claim of ‘clusters’ has only grown. We do not want to be printed off facts about cancers any more; we want actual tests and investigations to be carried out. I think this is needed because a lot of the local community are becoming increasingly concerned that there is an underlying cause as to why this is happening? We would like a full investigation into this instead of statistic and desktop studies as evidence saying it is a cluster, it is important for the local community that we get answers for the high number of cancers in young children over the past years.
