It was a backstabbing move to get rid of an actor after they battled cancer and had to take time to heal. Sickening! Charlie Huson should be brought back. Period. I thought Canada was better then the US in this regard but I guess not.

The show is not the same without him and not worth watching anymore. It was hard enough to lose the original Rex and then John was let go.

I have watched Hudson and Rex and am saddened about John Reardon's cancer. I only watch the first 6 seasons due to the new actor. The replacement actor may be a good actor. There definitely does not seem to be any chemistry between the actors as with Mr Reardon. The dog playing Rex does not seem to be as into it either. There is no humor or interactive banter with rest of cast. Bringing back Charlie would bring the show back to life and more entertaining!!!
