WHAT THE EGG INDUSTRY DOESN'T WANT YOU TO KNOW

New Zealand's egg farming business is being shown in its darkest light. With 82% of the one billion eggs bought by consumers in New Zealand are produced by cage eggs and spend their whole lives trapped in these cages. The animal welfare act has taken these harsh conditions into consideration and has made a change in the law to phase out battery cages but this will only be in practice in 2022 and the new cages the hens will be placed in don't sound any better than the ones they are currently in. This petition is to take a stand against the cruelty that has been going on and to be a voice for these animals.
