So my husband was talked into taking a plea deal and ended up with 2 years of ARD probation, 40 hours community service, anger management, and over $1800 in fines and fees. The DA was threatening to up the charges to aggravated assault and jail time if he didn't take the deal. Our lawyer who seemed ready for the fight, seemed to just about give up after the first couple continuances and after paying him $2500 pretty much said we either needed another $2500 to go to a jury trial or needed to just take the deal because we weren't going to get a fair decision with just a judge. This is totally not fair. Please continue to share this petition. I am planning on contacting the civil rights attorneys in Philadelphia and see what they can do, if anything. This has really put a us in a hole financially and had to put our house search on hold due to using our down money to pay the lawyer. With three children, bills, and my schooling, it is tough to get that kind of money back. Please share this petition and get the story out there. I appreciate your time and words of support!!!

This was definitely sexual harassment and is being cover up by the good ole boy system at that court house . It needs to be brought before the state court . He needs a civil rights lawyer. I hope your fight for justice prevails !

If someone would have done that to my twice, he would have done the same thing. My son-in-law is a good man. He's not a criminal. The guy who assaulted him needs to admit what he did was wrong and drop these unfair charges.

I fully support DJ and the Becker family. The fact that he cannot press harassment charges is BS. Doesn't matter if he's a man. This is ridiculous.
