I agree with everyone's comments about Simons knowledge and enthusiasm. It makes no sense. All I can say now is WTF?

On the Gold Coast here, which once was the shining light of Lyoness Australia growth, it is difficult to see any new activity happening. without any field support. The one thing that I always took away from a conversation with Simon was his positivity and enthusiasm about the future of Lyoness in Australia. Cutting that style of support and resource is not the way to encourage confidence in the future.

What is wrong with you? If you want something to succeed to don't throw the baby out with the bath water!!! This is soooo unbelievable. I'm am flabbergasted and disappointed with Lyoness's poor management and decision on this! This has been a looong struggle to get it to where it is (granted it hasnt taken off as anticipated) but sacking the 'workhorse' is not the answer. Perhaps look further up the chain and take action there first - there are very few people who are dedicated and truly inspired (and inspiring) to lead the change for a better in Lyoness Australia and this is how you treat them!?? Staggering! And i agree.. 'Power of positivity can be slowly (I say quickly) killed by wrong and unfair actions' and that's exactly what is happening with this not well thought out decision.
Simon is/was the rock of this great company for the average person. -- agreed totally Brett!

I can hardly believe it, Simon was always such a help and there at anytime to bounce off with any queries. Where to from here?

This is unbelievable. I'm so upset and disappointed with Lyones poor management. Only few people were inspiring me to belive that things still can change to the better in Lioness Australia and one of the main best Person was Simon. Power of positivity can be slowly killed by wrong and unfair actions and that's what it looks like happening.

I must say, I feel like a mushroom.
Who is there in Lyoness to provide us with information and education? We need support and education to bring SME on; it is not a simple task.
Letting Simon go! what a ridiculous decision ! He had so much knowledge and so willing to share it.
Also it would make good management sense to let all Merchant Marketers know of such decisions, when they are made.

Ridiculous thing Lyoness have done in Australia. Too many changes, too few knowledgeable people. This might be the tipping point for me as Simon was the best thing that happened to Lyoness. Illogical.

Now that Simon is unfortunately no longer the Commercial Manager, we can only hope that Corporate Lyoness intend to permanently employ someone in the Sydney office, in the very near future, who is VERY knowledgable about the Cashback Solutions program so that Merchant Marketers have a backup person available to all SME's who they could communicate directly with, if needed!...also would be a good back up for all those Merchant Marketers out in the field working hard to get Lyoness moving in AUS! ...and isn't this what Lyoness wants?????

it is about time lyoness started listening to the leaders instead of making decisions in a vacuum creating disaster after disaster.

Please communicate with us about the direction of the merchant program here in Australia. Australia is sooo big. We need/ love to have someone who understands the program and who can help and support us. Who can do this for us?
