What can we do to stop gender inequality?
What can we do to stop gender inequality?
Over decades, the world has been fighting against gender inequality
An average of 15 million girls,do not have the same rights as boys.
This is called gender inequality!!!For hundreds of years, girls have been
considered less than men. This is UNACCEPTABLE!!!!
I am concerned that there are 130 million girls that don’t go to school because of gender inequality. In some parts of the world, everyday, boys go to school while girls are at home doing chores all day like cooking ,cleaning, and taking care of the younger siblings. Did you know that some of the girls have to work at home doing dangerous Jobs? These include feeding animals, washing dishes, cooking and looking after their siblings.Around the world a lot of girls do more than 160 million more hours of household doing jobs at home that aren't easy. A lot of girls do alot of jobs because they can’t go to schooThis has been trying to be stopped but in some places they still stay at home.In fact some girls and boys have to work for their parent .There is this thing called the kamalari in Indonesia and they send there children to the kamalari to work when the boys are at school.
This has to stop because it is unfair.
Furthermore countries like Pakistan use to be in a lot of gender inequality because Pakistan use to be ruled by the taliban. The taliban is a group of terrorist that use to believe if girls go to school they could get smarter than them and could defeat them but they didn’t want them to and if they see girls going to school they will kill the girls that go to school or shoot the girls. This reminds me of Malala.Malala is a girl that wanted an education but couldn’t go to school but she went. One day the taliban figured out that she was going to school and shot her in her head. She survived the gun shot. Now Malala stands up for girls right to education and gender inequality.
Every girl should have the right to an education and go to school instead of doing chore and staying at home!!!!
I hope we gave you enough information about gender inequality.
