it is very strange that when someone b1tch slaps you, your first reaction is omg i'm so embarrassed for you b/c you're better than this. wtf? no wonder hong kong people support independence from China, afterall, their sense of the word "dignity" is clearly independent of normal dignified human behavior.

lol wharton is a business school right, i guess they're not technologically advanced enough to send a drone to his office and kill him, shame, all you want is a "confrontation", lol, if I were him, I would quite enjoy your tears expressed in such a confrontation. What you should do is go visit the female members of his family, and intimately change their opinions, so that they can in turn tell the ape how wrong he is.

Exactly why the F are you still in the united states? Why don't you go back to China and help build China, so that one day you can be proud of being Chinese, so that your pride need not derive from the work of your countrymen back home, but from the strength of your own shoulders that shouldered a nation. You were taught this right, I was taught this thru example, I should not have to tell you how to live it, as you should already know. Dignity is not something you beg for, it's something you own. You cannot assimilate your way into dignity, nor does changing your passport or nationality grant you dignity. Sure it can grant you an acceptance of sorts, but since human rights transcends the country of the united states, as long as there exists any hostility toward China, you will know yourself for the coward that you are, for the inaction that you commit.

lol things will backfire now, I'm Chinese, and I'm fully Americanized, which means, Wharton is now a prime site for some good ole high tech "home grown" terrorism, of course, you can debate over morality yada yada no one cares about after the fact, oh and healing blah blah feel better console urselves. I can already imagine the aftermath, people saying omfg why did you retaliate over a cartoon of mohammad, lighten up, why you kill people over being dissed, why? omg why? uh this aint complicated, cuz i felt like it, good? now take ur tears elsewhere

This is not the first time we heard similar comments. I guess some people think it's OK to joke around the quiet Asian since nothing backfired before.

So I relogged in with an anonymous account to post this disorganized ramble, but personally, I was not terribly surprised by Linneman's comments. As a Chinese male, I have frankly gotten numb to these types of comments. A fellow first year Wharton classmate pointed the article out to me in our real estate class. In fact, we had seen Linneman speak with Sam Zell on campus the day before he made his racist comments. I thought it would blow over with a handful of angry tweets (e.g. the Oscars, white actors in yellowface portraying Asians in recent movies, etc.), but I'm surprised by the level of response to what is a relatively tame comment. Maybe it's just the accumulated anger. Here's a question: how many times have you been slighted because you were Asian? how many times have you seen your parents or grandparents disrespected for not speaking proper English? If you are like me, the answer is countless and too many.
