I'm most offended by people's comment in that "people can't take a joke". This is not a joke and it's an unacceptable behavior for a professor.

Mr. Linneman should resign or be dismissed from his post with U Penn. He has now caused damage to the University's reputation and this will only get worse if he retains his position. If he has any sense of respect for the University he should do the right thing and resign. We need to all work hard to spread the news about what has happened here so that he can be held accountable for what he has said and done. I respect that we should all be allowed to bring up points for the sake of debate but his multiple comments were completely outside the boundaries of common sense.

The racist comment hurts and I'm astonished to hear it from a professor at Wharton, a business school that's starting to build a presence in China and hoping to receive a generous donation from Chinese men, the very victims of the comments made by one of its leading professors.
