I think the one strike and you're out policy is really unfair and draconian. The group administrator should have been clearly told what he did wrong, given a warning and a chance to correct the behavior. The way the disabled of this group was handled without letting it know what it did wrong or giving it a chance to correct that is really unprofessional and immature.
