The Westwood Family Resource islooking to our community members and partners for support for continued funding. Every year, we have to show the county of Lassen that there is a need for our local resource center and that full funding is needed to produce the same high standard of service that we currently provide. The Westwood Family Resource center is a community-focused non-profit organization in Westwood, Lassen County, CA. We operate under the umbrella of Communites United for Children and Families. We partner with Lassen County Health and Social Services and Lassen Aurora Network to provide services at the Westwood One Stop. Our services include Resource and Referral, Application Assistance, Employment Assistance, Free Copy/Fax/Print/Phone/Internet Services, Emergency Food and Diaper Distribution, and our Toy/Book/Video Lending Library. Our activities include Community Dinners, Mystery Baby Showers, AIM (All Inclusive Mentoring) Program, and our annual Children's Festival.
