University Studios residents... this is your opportunity to return the favor and support Wes by showing that you appreciated his assistance, courtesies, and company. Wes was dismissed from his duties here on Friday, November 2nd, 2012 for making an error in judgment and was re-assigned by Metro Security to another contracted location but he wishes to return to work here and he needs your help. Anyone that supports this petition knows that while Wes was on duty, he performed his job when he was called upon - in any situation. I know Wes very well... he is a great friend of mine and I've seen him do things here for people that no other former or current guard has or would have done. His character and personality is admirable at the very least. He has helped residents here that have struggled to help themselves with simple everyday tasks. I've witnessed him numerous times take out trash and deliver food to a former resident that was physically disabled. Up until his last day he assisted a current resident whom is challenged with the pain associated with a back injury and the difficulties that accompany a recovery from surgery by buying his groceries and prescriptions and delivering them to his apartment door. Recently, the rear elevator was disabled and as a result the building's fire alarm system was malfunctioning. Wes called maintenance personnel and while on the phone receiving instructions, he went up on the roof, removed his socks and shoes, and walked through a large pond of standing water in the cold weather just to inspect the elevator shaft control room to see if there was any way that he could reset the electrical controls that operate the elevator. Everyday he would go above and beyond the description of his job to satisfy us. These are just samples of the efforts that he displayed while working here. I'm sure many of you reading this have a story about how Wes has helped you out. Please share them with building management by calling NM Residential at 440-331-8800 or by e-mailing contactus@niederstmanagement.com. The whole purpose of this online petition is to gather enough resident's signatures to submit to the building's owner to show him that while Wes did make a mistake on the job, he made many, many more positive decisions and contributions that affected so many of you that pay your money to reside here and to possibly persuade him to give Wes a second chance at his job at University Studios. Please join me and help Wes return to where he wants to work. Thank You.
