Look, Polyvore. We know you want to make money. Did you think we wouldn't notice how our contacts' sets are on a different page with more advertising? But you're losing members over these changes, and that doesn't make money.
Do you want to know why you're losing members? Tons of reasons. You don't care about what we, the users of Polyvore, want. You made this terribly inefficient change, and you're just not listening to what we're screaming to you! We made it through the tagging and permanent usernames, with much grumbling, but this we won't accept!
And banning text sets? This site is about expression. So to you, it's okay to express yourself through fashion or art or interior design, but not through words? Fashion and art and interior design are great, and we use them. But text sets are a part of Polyvore, and getting rid of them is just stifling us. We don't like it.
A lot of members feel, also, that you're trying to change Polyvore. Trying to make it a social network, like Facebook or twitter. Trying to copy tumblr. Honestly, Polyvore. We liked you the way you were! If we didn't, we wouldn't have been on you instead of those other sites. We come to Polyvore to make sets, roleplay, enter contests, and rant. Sure, we like being connected with polyfriends. That's what MESSAGING is for! So the new activity page wouldn't be all bad, except that- oh wait- Messaging isn't even included in that!
So, Polyvore, it comes down to this.
We want you to admit you were wrong.
And change it back.

The feedback in the comments shows that ripping away our creative tools is not an acceptable business model. Email the support team directly today to demand that they restore text sets and stop this pivot to a generic social network.

The amount of feedback pouring in proves that this community will not be ignored by site leadership. Post the link to this petition on your Facebook wall and tag the official Polyvore page so they have to see our frustration.

So frustrated with these changes. The ads are everywhere and I cant even find my friends feeds anymore.
The new update is honestly unusable. I used to spend hours here everyday but now I barely even log in it just feels so corporate and gross now.
Stop trying to turn this into another cookie cutter social media app. Nobody asked for this.
BRING BACK TEXT SETS!!!! That was the whole reason I joined in the first place. You are ruining everything that made this community special.
I really dont understand why they feel the need to fix what isnt broken. Just leave the site alone.
