I live in this community and would enjoy walking with my kids to the store, my son had a job at Walmart but had to ride his bike on the busy streets with no sidewalks or bike path, this access would be a safer route.

I have lived in this area since '99 and had made that walk for years before the gate went up. I never saw any type of vandalism being done. One day I did talk to a Coleman security head from San Diego and Maintenance man at the gate face to face. Security head said gate closed partly because of the guy mentioned above who would walk, talk loudly. I told him e had moved

If this is grandfathered in then I think it should be opened back up. I used to walk down to walmart etc twice aweek to get out and walk. I was sadden when it got closed up.

For your record National University Academy,
The source of all your fears and trouble (and lack of tolerance) the support home for the almost mentally stable for society, has been closed and/or moved from this neighborhood ….so open our easement please.

Re-open gate, to dangerous to walk on So Santa Fe and Sycamore to University Ave. My wife and I bike and walk through the gate (Predestian righy of way, at Watson & Yettford Road, We have never seen any crime or vandalism in parking lot, and we have lived here and used it since 1997.

Reopen gate, many do not drive and it is to dangerous to walk on So Santa Fe and Sycamore to University Ave. We bike and walk and never saw any crime or vandalism in parking lot.

I used to walk this way a few times a week to get to target to pick up prescriptions and other essentials. I no longer drive because of a heart condition and this has caused me a lot of distress, please take down the little fence so I can get through again!

We've been living in this neighborhood for 35 years, and REALLY miss this as part of our daily walk! Also, our kids learned to ride their bikes here on the weekends long ago. Please re-open!!
