To: school board head. Address The public affected by the school of Wetaskiwin composite high school has come to the agreement that the 40 minute lunch time that took motion September 27 2011 has been a huge strain. We the people believe it should be changed back to the original hour break. On behave of the people we, Tyler Smith and Rayvin Womeold address the many issues that have aroused from the shortened lunch hour that has been established. These many issues consist of; poor income that has reached the surrounding businesses of our city, a great increase of tardiness to third period classes, a higher level of stress felt by the students of Wetaskiwin campsite high school due to a more constricted work day with little time to relax, and also the issue of rushed tests that are attempted to be rewrote in this 40 minute period. Speaking as one of the voices of the people we believe it is possible to create a better atmosphere within and around the high school of Wetaskiwin. This can become possible with the allowance of a 60 minute lunch hour in the upcoming semesters of 2012/2013.
