The current momentum gives us the leverage required to request a formal meeting with the Board of Supervisors. I am preparing the finalized documentation to ensure our request for a referendum is presented according to local legal standards.

its about time we stop driving all the way to Tupelo just to buy a beer. keep the tax money in our own county!
People drive drunk anyway because they have to travel so far to get anything. This would actually make the roads alot safer.
We need the revenue to help our schools and fix the roads. Why let other counties have all our money???
Bout time we join the rest of the state. Sick of living in the past.
tired of this dry county nonsense. it is 2017 people are going to drink anyway so might as well let the local shops make some profit.
