The board officially reversed their decision and West Park is staying open. I walked past the halls today knowing my younger brother will get to graduate here after all. Thank you for sticking by me when the odds seemed impossible.

I have been spending my nights reviewing the board's original projections and comparing them to the reality our families see every day. The silence from the DSBN office is frustrating but we are preparing a formal response to their claims about the future of our school.

STOP closing our schools! this is ridiculous
My grandson loves his teachers there. Why take away a school that works perfectly fine? Makes no sense.
this whole process has been a joke since day one. listen to the people who actually live here.
West Park has always been the heart of this community. You cant just shut it down because of some math on a piece of paper.
waste of money to move everyone else where. keep west park open.

My kids went here and they had such a great experience. Closing it is just plain wrong for the neighborhood.
