I am extremely disappointed in the change of hours this year. Typically when I get out of practice it could be as late as 7:30 or 8. That means that I can only go to The Titan Club. If there were more places open at this time then it wouldn't make the The Titan club so busy. When getting out of practice, it would be ideal to not have to wait 20+ minutes for food so that I can get on to my homework or other various meetings in a timely manner. I also would like a better variety in foods or healthier foods at the Titan Club. Especially being an athlete, it is crucial for me to have a balanced diet and not eat the same meal every day or a lot of fried foods. I've also noticed that the area to the left of the checkout is not always stocked with food which is disappointing because that is where there is usually fruits and vegetables.

There are multiple days when I am unable to eat due to scheduling, and due to Duff not being open. The majority of the time, if I want to eat, I am forced to go to the Tub or to The Titan Club. Neither place is conducive to saving money. I have no idea how my meal plan is going to last until the end of the semester. Being a first year, I am required to have swipes...which I am incapable of using and I am only given a limited amount of flex which I do not see lasting for the duration of the semester either.

Changes should be made not solely for the benefit of the students, but for the benefit of the Sodexo workers. The Titan Club currently lacks air conditioning, which is absolutely unacceptable for the amount of students cramming in to get their meal after band, sports, meetings, etc. The amount of people in the building then makes it even hotter for the workers who are stuck behind a hot grill where the only sort of cool air they can get is a fan. If the Titan Club is our only option, the LEAST Westminster can do is provide a comfortable environment for students and workers forced to be there. Workers should NOT be passing out on the job at an institution if higher education due to poor working conditions and overcrowding. Please hear our concerns for our sake and the sake of those who work hard to keep us fed!

It is frightening to see this because we have no other options other than to drive somewhere and purchase food. I don't understand how the school's admin. thinks this was a solution to a problem when It created more problems and solved nothing. Also, it is especially sad to see the employees sitting around a table chatting more often that working. Coming from the perspective of someone who works in the fast food industry, if I were to be on the clock not actually working I would be fired on the spot.

As a music major who graduated in 2015, I am appalled that students have no late night options. This is horrible for athletes and the entire music department which does have class and meetings and rehearsals until in the evening on a regular basis. Are these students supposed to starve or eat food that is overpriced and unhealthy that they can't take with them? The college is doing ridiculous things but this one is close to the top of my list.

I was honestly about to do this so I'm glad I'm not the only one who is angry about this. I also want to comment on a post from earlier. Someone said the conditions for employees is horrendous. I am not an employee, but I was a witness to an employee who passed out because of how hot it was in the back. The heat made me very mad, but what made me infuriated was how the manager and other employees reacted when an older gentleman passed out. One kid tried to ignore this man and continue to take my friends order. I had to tell the employees what to do to help this guy. Then when the manager finally showed up he continued to stare at this guy. He of all people should have known how to handle the situation, but he didn't. One employee called public safety after I told him countless times to call an ambulance. that poor man laid on the hard floor for over 20 min before public safety showed up and then it was another 10 min before they called an ambulance. In my opinion, that is absolutely ridiculous! The manager should have handled the situation not look to me and "I don't know what to do." An ambulance should have been called immediately and after that incident, the conditions of the environment should have been changed. I'm starting to wonder if WC cares about its students. Athletes can't get a prop meal, people are passing out, managers have no clue how to handle it, students are transferring because of the tuition and because WC does not have the programs they claimed they have. It's honestly a shame. WC needs to open their eyes!

I'd like to comment as a student and as an employee. As a student, I agree that our meal plans should be able to pay for coffee instead of forcing SGA to provide the entire campus with Keurig coffee seeing as it will raise our activities fee. The hours of the TUB and potentially Duff should be extended so that all athletes have the options of using flex or meal swipes. I think it is outrageous that they have cut the hours of the TUB and Jazzman's.
As an employee, this frustrates me further. Not only to we have to deal with the extra crowds from the lack of the TUB being open, but when the athletes get out of practice we (duff) get slammed with giant crowds within 30 minutes of closing. As if this wasn't stressful enough, we are insanely understaffed and work in less than ideal conditions. This year alone I have seen both students and employees pass out due to heat, I've seen chefs have to coon AND serve their food, cashiers have to run between serving lines and the registrr, etc. I think two things to add to this list are air conditioning and more employees. Both of the above would create a less stressful work environment, and would make for faster, friendlier service to our customers. The same can be said for The Titan Club and the TUB assuming they extend their hours.

I think that if the tub can't stay open after 7, that there should at least be chips and a cooler with drinks in the Titan Club so we can just grab something quickly, rather than waiting in line for deep fried foods. I do however like the expanded menu at the Titan club!

It doesn't sit well with me either. The fact that I cannot have coffee after 7pm is ridiculous. I study until 1am and often went to Jazzman's between the hours of 8-10pm. In addition, we were promised with this change that coffee would be available in the Titan Club. It is now week 2 and there still is no coffee with the exception of Keurig Coffee. The common response is, go to the library and get coffee. However, it is not SGA's job to supply the whole campus with coffee for free. My meal plan is supposed to cover this. I am very disappointed with the administration because it seems like they don't care about the students and their well-being.
