As a donor and alumni I am sick of the secrets. We deserve to know why he was forced out and the board better start talking soon.

The Board of Goverance must be diligent to provide full transparency to the alumni, students, Dr. Akande, and the community. The resignation of the chairman must be considered.

Thank you for doing this. From what I'd read in the Fulton Sun about President Akande, I'd been very impressed by him & his leadership & I'd hoped to
Meet him.

Westminster Class of '17.
Worked closely with Dr. Akande and do not appreciate the lack of transparency and disrespect shown by the Board towards Akande and Alumni.

While signing this petition was as easy as a mouse click without bothering to read this petition, it seems next to impossible to remove my vote. As such, I will add a comment I hope will be read by everyone before they sign this petition.
A College Board is a legal organization empowered with broad management and stewardship over an institution. Each Trustee is personally committed to the best possible future for the College. While I have no inside information, we must understand that personnel decisions are legal in nature. I urge each of you to accept the fact that the Board is legally unable to share the information which is requested in this petition. In fact, the Board is demonstrating proper governance by not sharing further details in private or in public.
Having served with many of the current Trustees, I can personally attest that they are 100% accountable to all stakeholders of our beloved institution - Alumni, Students, Faculty, Staff and Parents. I trust they made the proper decision for the good of Westminster and understand that information surrounding events like this one should never be shared with the public. I urge you to join me in supporting this group of volunteers as they guide Westminster through good times and bad.

Class of 2010. I don't want to see my institution downgraded. While we all support Dr. Perry and are happy for her, the community deserves to be informed as to how this happened.
