West Mifflin Outdoor Skatepark
I'm going to make this short and sweet.
Basically..
Shane Andres got in touch with the Tony Hawk Foundation, and they have agreed to build West Mifflin a skatepark.. with the permission of the West Mifflin Burrow.
The burrow is complaining about having to spend money to mantain the skatepark, to pay the police officers to open and close it every night, and a place to put the park altogether.
We obviously know that police officers would not have to be payed any separate wages to open and close the skatepark every morning and night..they are to do what they are told and we all know the police drive around aimlessly atleast 60% of there day anyway..they have the time.
And I know at LEAST 60 kids who would take 5 minutes out of there day to clean up the skatepark..and atleast 70 who wouldnt mind simply putting there trash in a garbage can.
I mean come on..no skateboarder likes a dirty runway..lol
And the completely open field where Old Emerson stood has more than plenty of space for a skatepark, along with several other abandoned fields and lots in our town.
Help us convince the burrow that this idea is a huge positive for our town, and can do a lot of good things for the children and businesses in the area.
