As residents of the Westerville School district, we ask the Westerville Board of Education to delay a decision on the proposed elementary school realignment until the 2013-2014 academic year. We think more time is necessary to study the impact of these options on the school district's academic performance and keep as many children unaffected by this plan as possible. We are concerned that making a decision within the board's current planned timeline could lead to unintended consequences that could affect our district's success for years to come.
