The tennis court above West Portal Station is currently unused, without a net, and in poor condition. It has never been a popular place to place tennis, because the high winds makes it hard to play. I propose transforming the court into a mini soccer court for the local community who are really in need of a place to play. The cost to the city would be nominal and the use would increase 10 fold.

The wind there ruins tennis anyways. Such a waste of space currently when the kids have nowhere nearby to kick a ball around.

fixing up that court for futsal is a no brainer. its way better than looking at a cracked slab of concrete covered in weeds every day.
