I trust that the Review committee will see sense and hear from the congregation. I had the privilege to attend West Hill two weeks ago and it is clear to me that there is a deep spiritual atmosphere in evidence. I expect that the United Church that I know will rise to the occasion and not get bogged down in nomenclature or political issues. At the very least; for natural justice to be served an open process with full disclosure is required. Hat cannot happen without congregational input

Please include the congregation in these proceedings. The church has to be wide enough to include non theists and those who challenge traditional hrliefs

1.language is ever insufficient.
2.Incarnation implies a non-dualistic and non-theistic understanding of existence.
3. this is an opportunity not a problem.
4. policy has always followed praxis
5. If not Greta Vosper then not so many of us.
6. How can you review a minister APART from a congregation. Are we not in a three way covenant?
7. May this be an evolutionary moment in the life of the church.

I feel that Rev. Gretta Vosper should be permitted to have representation from her congregation at this review.

Review of ministry personnel policies are there to help when interests diverge and we are tempted to veer away from open process. May broad understanding of Vosper's ministry be sought by including Bowes in the review.

Greta's fearless intellectual integrity and her deep commitment to her community and our denomination is a gift and a beacon.

The United Church will lose its reputation and its prestigious position as a liberal church, its moral influence and its position as a progressive, all-embracing Protestant denomination if it continues this lynching party against Reverend Greta Vosper. Shame on all of us if we support such an unjust review. Everyone of us will lose . Where is justice? Where is empathy? Where is understanding?
Where is support and assistance? Where is love?

I have written often, and still the Toronto Conference goes ahead with its inquisition. Totally ignorant and counterproductive. They should be ashamed!

We are called by Jesus to 'stop' judging one another - who are you to judge someone else's servant? Why do you judge your brother or sister or treat them with contempt? therefore let us stop passing judgement on one another " Romans 14

The United Church of Canada turned its back on Christianity's more regressive views and became one of the most forward thinking churches of today. Embracing Reverend Vosper's entirely wholesome theological perspectives will allow the UCC to firmly establish itself as an admirable contender for the future of spirituality, compassion, and organized religion!

I trust there will be room in The United Church of Canada for challenge in thinking. If not, I fear we take steps backward and change who we have become.

This is no more than a heresy trial under the cloak of "effectiveness!" I would have thought our fellow UCC brothers and sisters to the North were beyond the days of witch trials!

I am very dismayed by the lack of acceptance towards new understandings of faith and the work of ministry that Gretta and the Westhill United Church Congregation are engaged in together. I am even more dismayed by the process that has been laid out for the review. I strongly support the congregations request to have Randy Bowes not only present at the review, but also to be provided with the right to speak.

Member of Trinity United Church in Newmarket. Unhappy that my church is putting a congregation and their minister through this. You have the opportunity to make this ugly mess a bit more grace-ful.
