Some people have to save up all year for a trip like this, and others don't have an opportunity to do things like this. If they cancel this trip where will they stop canceling school activities that have been a West A tradition for years.

It's very upsetting to hear that the school district wants to take away the one field trip that I looked forward to each year. The memories made and friendships strengthened on this annual Vermont trip rank in the highlights of my entire high school career.
To know that future students, my siblings included, are having this once in a lifetime opportunity taken away from them is just terrible and I really hope the district reconsiders this decision.

I personally do not attend the ski trip because I cannot ski but my friends do and they love it. It is a tradition and well known.
